THE POSITION

The Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation's Food Service Department is seeking a 2^nd Cook. As a 2^nd Cook you will cook and prepare daily food requirements. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a restaurant or hotel cook. In addition you will possess the ability to multi-task, be very organized, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Formal culinary training is considered an asset.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Prepare hot plates, cold plates, soups, salads, sauces and sandwiches for the restaurant, suites, and banquet functions.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and use of food inventories.
• Ensure proper temperatures are maintained.
• Comply to all safe food handling policies.
• Attend carving stations on buffets and/or private functions.
• All other duties as assigned.

Shifts are event driven and consist of mainly evenings and weekends. Flexible availability is required.
