What is Central Alberta Youth Unlimited? Central Alberta Youth Unlimited (CAYU) is a not-for-profit, non-government, Christian organization that builds meaningful, long-term connections with young people by meeting them where they are at. CAYU believes in every youth experiencing hope and wholeness in Christ through mentorship.
What does the CAYU Graphics & Communications Coordinator do?
The Graphics & Communications Coordinator is responsible for creating engaging Social Media posts that advertise for job postings, fundraisers, special events, new programming, ministry highlights, etc. They provide support to staff in managing ministry Social Media platforms. They compile, create, and disburse our monthly e-news campaigns and also proof read communications sent out to our partners by other staff within the organization.
The Graphics & Communications Coordinator manages the CAYU website, which includes adding new staff, creating special announcements, and updating online forms. They will also assist with designing and creating our Annual Report, Newsletters, Prayer Cards, Promotional items for events and fundraisers, etc.

Creativity and an attention to detail
Ability to work on a team and independently, while being a highly efficient time manager.
Problem Solving Skills
Knowledge of graphic design software
Ability to design for print
What are the working conditions?
• Administrative work at home, CAYU office, or coffee shop.
• Collaborating with other CAYU staff
• Developing and maintaining partnerships with individuals.
• Occasional evening work, weekend work, day trips, and extended trips, as well as the need to travel to different communities
• Salary, expenses, and benefits (if applicable) are all raised by the applicant, with support and coaching from our ministry partnership coach.
Time commitment: Part-time 20- 25 hours per week.
Training: 2-year credentialing training, plus organization-wide and hands-on training, ongoing Supervision, and feedback.
