Security Officer - Ops Centre Burnaby

We are currently seeking security guards for permanent positions working at an operations centre site in Burnaby.

The available permanent positions are as follows:

• Thursday and Friday 3pm till 11pm plus Saturday and Sunday 7am till 3pm
• Thursday to Sunday 11pm till 7am
• Lead Hand Guard - Saturday to Wednesday 3pm till 11pm (supervisory experience required)

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Patrolling the site
• Offering first class customer service to clients
• Monitoring of CCTV
• Access Control
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
• Lead Hand - liaising with client and head office team, managing any issues or concerns on site

Your Must-Haves:

• BC Security License
• You have excellent problem solving skills
• You can work under pressure
• Physically able to stand and walk for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions

Your Nice-To-Haves:

• You have a valid Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract
• You have resided in Canada for the last five years
• Hold OFA 1 or OFA 2
