MOBILE SECURITY OFFICER:

Start Time: Fri & Sat 2200 - 0600 (10:00PM to 6:00AM)
Pay rate: $21.00 / hour

Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

Your Must-Haves:

  • Hold a valid BC Security License
  • Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver's license
  • Have a clean driver's abstract
  • Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills
  • Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills

Your Nice-To-Haves:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operating a Mobile Patrol motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and regulations;
  • Conducting security checks at client sites according to directives, standards and post orders;
  • Utilize company cell phones and Tracktik phone app;
  • Conducting alarm response to client sites as needed
  • Conducting House Watch patrol if necessary;
  • Attending lone worker sites to check on workers when requested;
  • Ensuring incident and shift reports are completed including Run Sheets, Vehicle Inspection reports, Tracktik reports, Alarm reports and Inventory reports;
  • Reporting for shifts on time, and maintaining proper dress and deportment at all times;
  • Reporting any unsafe incidents, practices and/or issues;
  • Conducting vehicle checks at start of shifts and ensuring any issues are reported accurately;
  • Being respectful towards tools/equipment and ensuring proper key control at all times;
  • Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and washed as required;
  • Maintaining high standard of work ethic and professionalism;
  • Promoting a respectful workplace by displaying a courteous, professional attitude;
  • Keeping management aware of any unusual incidents;
