Security Guard - Mission - Part Time to Full Time

Currently we are hiring for Security Guards at a High-Profile Federal Site located in Mission.

Available Rotations:

• Monday - Friday, 0600 - 1400
• Monday - Friday, 1400 - 2200
• Monday - Friday, 2200 - 0600
• Saturday & Sunday, 0600 - 1400
• Saturday & Sunday, 1400 - 2200
• Saturday & Sunday, 2200 - 0600

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Performing interior patrols and conducting daily resident counts
• Maintaining official visitor and resident logs, count sheets, and resident sign-in/out sheets
• Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents
• Enforcing and maintaining resident curfews
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
• Provide first aid in a prompt, accessible, and appropriate manner
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of site duties and safety standards

Must Have:

• Valid BC Security License
• Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
• OFA 1 certificate or willing to take one
• Has AST or willing to obtain one
