Job Summary

A 24-bed open bay NICU will be moving to the new unit at the end of 2025, where all rooms will be single family rooms.

We are seeking a Neonatologist to join our team of seven neonatologists. The successful candidate will be involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and will also contribute to the development of unit programs.

The position is scheduled to start in January 2025.

The successful candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Certified in Neonatology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of BC.
  • Demonstrated evidence of sufficient clinical experience in all areas of Neonatology.
  • Expertise in Neonatal Pointe of Care ultrasound (POCUS) and TNEcho is an asset.
  • Experience and demonstrated skills in teaching and clinical policies development will be considered an asset.
