Part Time Permanent 3 on 6 off 2 Days 1 Night 0700-1900 & 1900-0700 - All Neighborhoods

Wage Leveling rate of pay $32.84 - $41.35 per hour until such time that wage leveling ends, then the pay rate will reflect the collective agreement pay rates starting rate.

What you'll be doing

As a Team Member of Long Term Care you'll work in a fast-paced industry where you'll make a meaningful difference in our resident's lives. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll form a deep understanding of your residents, build relationships and curate options and choice to support health & well being. You will manage, either individually or as part of a team, a home where the focus is on deepening relationships and clinical care. We are a 24/7 operations and you are flexible to work on-site at a care community or residence, which will include shift work during the week and weekends.

How you'll succeed

1. Providing for nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an LPN. Utilizing sound nursing practice principles, ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
2. Ensures the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, ensures protocols are followed on all assigned shifts.
3. Creating a comfortable and safe environment that provides opportunities for privacy, dignity, autonomy, independence and individuality and maintenance of personal lifestyle and values
4. Optimizing each resident's potential to achieve or maintain maximum functional ability

Who You Are

1. Diploma in Practical Nursing
2. Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses, BC
3. Successful annual completion of RAI MDS certification as per Ministry of Health Requirements for AIS
4. Current first aid with CPR
