To assist in the operations of collecting and processing donations in the Food Recovery Program, practicing good
stewardship of our donated resources. The applicant will provide service to local agencies, and business', sort incoming
products, and assists in Family Services operations.
Clean and repackage recovered food.
· Pick up and process donated resources by unloading, sorting, placing, and loading donated items.
· Work with clients in food distribution.
· Contribute to the safety of staff and clients (e.g., clear fire exits, no obstacles inside/outside the building, cleans
spillage and assist in maintaining facility cleanliness).
· Take responsibility for the accurate completion of all client intake and recording into system.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Certifications: · Completion of high school diploma
Experience: · Up to three (3) months prior experience, including life skills.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
HOURS:13 hours per week. · Start Date: January 13th 2025 End Date: February 14th 2025 · Contract maybe renewed
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
· Background check consent.
· A clear vulnerable sector screening.
· A clean drivers abstract.
· Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training.
