• Mobile Security Officer (Surrey, BC V3T 0K9)
• Hourly Payrate: $ 20.00
• Schedule: Sat - Sun 06:00 to 18:00 hrs.
• Mandatory Class 5F Driver's License with clear abstract

Overview :

The Mobile Security Officer is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations, encompassing leadership, coordination, client interaction, incident response, training, equipment maintenance, and compliance. The Mobile Security Officer will maintain a proactive approach in ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and premises. Mobile Security Officer will respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, coordinating with appropriate authorities and stakeholders as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Security Operations: Oversee daily mobile security operations, ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures.
• Site Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols from site to site to monitor security conditions, identify potential threats, and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.

• Threat Assessment: Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.

• Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security across all operations.

• Emergency Response: Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Be at least 25 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Mobile Security experience will be an asset.
• Must have minimum 1 year of Security experience.
• Possess effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Licensing requirements are subject to province and/or local laws and regulations and will be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background check
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat and occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms
