Position Purpose summary:
The Community Engagement/Volunteer Coordinator supports the work of the management team, offering expertise and strategic oversight of digital/social media marketing and establishing and implementing a strong volunteer program for the Ministry Unit.

Volunteers: 40%
Communications: 40%
NOTE: Not all incumbents perform all of the duties described above but perform a similar range of duties.

Internal: Management Team, SA Vernon Community Council, THQ PR, THQ Volunteer Coordinator, Community Engagement/Volunteer Coordinators at other BC Ministry Units, Vernon volunteers, EDS volunteers, various internal Planning Committees
External: External partners and donors

Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $21.62 to $27.02 with a maximum of $32.43.Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
