What you'll do - The opportunity

Duties:

• Conducting Chemistry Analysis
• Sampling and performing chemical analysis throughout all stages
• Quality control measurements and audits on production lines
• Preparing solutions, reagents and sample formulation
• Conducting tests and analysis using standardized techniques
• Quality control of production lines - collecting micro samples
• Perform relevant food safety tasks

Other Responsibilities:

• Preparing daily sensory line up or comparative testing
• Ability to multi-task and analyze data in a fast-paced and results driven environment
• Ability to perform duties to a high level of accuracy with limited direct supervision
• Strong attention to procedural detail to ensure specifications of brewing and packaging process
• Operate, maintain and calibrate the laboratory instruments
• 5S ownership and general housekeeping
• Sterile sampling on the off shifts
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Degree in a related science field
• HACCP / Food Safety experience as an asset
• Previous quality assurance experience (an asset)
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• Part-time shift work in Quality Assurance. Ability to pick up labour shifts in other departments.
