Commissionaires BC is currently looking for a security guard to afternoons in Vernon, BC.
Position hours: Saturday & Sunday 4:30pm until 12:30am Wage: $22.15 per hour
Your Must-Haves:
A valid BC Security License
A valid OFA 1
Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills
Intermediate to advanced computer skills
Some of your responsibilities include:
Provide superior customer service to our client and site users
Perform regular exterior and interior patrols, including mechanical rooms
Equipment alarm response and monitoring
Provide access control as per site regulations, including issuing of access cards
Investigate security incidents, escalating as necessary
Maintains a safe environment for all personnel and the public
Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report.
