About Us:
We are looking for a skilled, gentle and kind hygienist to join our dynamic, patient centered team at Carrington Dental Centre!
We provide an ideal working environment for a dental hygienist which includes appointment times scheduled according to how much time each patient needs, a wonderful hygiene coordinator, a hygiene assistant to help with sterilization, charting, cleaning rooms and more. Excellent instruments and cassettes for each hygienist and regular hygiene meetings to learn and grow as a team and share ideas.
We have a beautiful, spacious office with windows throughout and a deck off our lunch room so you can enjoy the beautiful views of West Kelowna and we are within walking distance of the lake with many restaurants and amenities nearby. We welcome working interviews or temp shifts to see if it is a good fit!
Schedule: Monday 9:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday 8:00am-12:00pm and/or 4:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, and Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

The wage range is from $50.00 to $60.00 per hour depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate's work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients' expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.
About You:
Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program
Registered as a Dental Hygienists and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
Valid CPR certification
