Summary: The Housekeeping Assistant Manager will work closely as a "hand-on" employee and be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager in all aspects of the Housekeeping department including planning, organizing, and developing the overall operations of the housekeeping department.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager to oversee, lead, and direct the Housekeeping operations of the housekeeping, public space, and laundry areas.
  • Monitor budget status and take corrective steps as appropriate.
  • Inspect rooms, public space, and back-of-the-house areas continually, and take action and respond to maintain services and standards.
  • Assists the Housekeeping Manager to develop and implement employee engagement strategies and practices.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality supervisory role.
  • Experience in inventory management, purchasing, and managing performance and productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership.
