Administrative Support Professionals are the backbone of Horizon's healthcare facilities and offices. They provide overall administrative support to departments, clinics, and programs and perform the daily tasks that keep these services functioning smoothly. They have strong interpersonal and communication skills, great organization habits, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

At Horizon, there are many different administrative support roles, such as: administrative assistants, receptionists, admission and registration clerks, and health records clerks.

What you will do

You will be responsible for providing administrative support for a department, clinic, or program. You will perform a variety of tasks such as processing admissions, scheduling appointments, assembling and maintaining medical documents and patient charts, and performing reception and general office duties.

Who you are

You have completed an administrative support program and have demonstrated proficiency in data entry, typing, and Microsoft Office programs. Depending on your role, you may also be required to demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and have medical office experience.

You have advanced written and spoken proficiency in English. Some positions may also require proficiency in French.
