Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive tow trucks to safely transport vehicles to designated locations.
  • Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance, accident recovery, and vehicle transportation.
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of vehicles, using appropriate equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tow trucks to ensure they are in safe and operational condition.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies while operating a tow truck.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers, providing updates on vehicle status and estimated arrival times.
  • Assist customers with non-vehicle-related issues when needed (e.g., battery jump-starts, flat tire changes, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate records of each tow, including vehicle details, time of service, and location.
  • Manage any paperwork or documentation required for each tow or roadside assistance call.
  • Handle emergency situations with professionalism and a calm demeanor.
  • Be on-call during nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating a Tow truck or similar equipment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns is a plus.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused in emergency situations.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
