We are looking for experienced Security Guards to join our team part-time with a flexible schedule. This position is perfect for those looking for part-time work in varying work environments. Members of our part-time team are able to manage their own schedule by selecting open shifts at their own discretion off of our GardaWorld specific scheduling app in a variety of different locations in the region. They also have first opportunity to bid on new open permanent positions should they come available. The part time team is expected to work at least four shifts per month but are welcome to work up to 44 hours (or more if approved) should the shifts be available.
Successful applicants will have experience working in the security industry in different roles and be able to step in to different positions as needed. They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, have experience working in customer service, be comfortable working in all weather conditions and have at least 4 full days of full availability per week. Lastly all applicants must have access to their own vehicle in order to access and work at certain sites.
Pay Rate: $18.00/Hour - $22.00/Hour Depending on location

A valid Ontario Security Guard license
Valid Standard First Aid/CPR/AED Level C certification from a WSIB approved provider
Demonstration of excellent verbal and written communication in English

G2 or G Licence

Be eligible to work in Canada with a valid Canadian Work Permit, valid Permanent Resident Card or as a Canadian Citizen (Those on Canadian Study Permits with hours restrictions are unfortunately not being considered for this position)
