Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

Title: Security Guard - Part Time
Pay Rate: $17.20 per hour
Schedule: 23:00 to 07:00 (Sat - Sun)
Location: Brampton

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism. Previous experience in Gatehouse an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

 Access Control: Monitor and control entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the facility.

 ID Verification: Check identification and credentials of drivers, employees, and visitors, ensuring compliance with company policies.

 Vehicle Inspections: Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing trucks and cargo for security and safety compliance.

 Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of all vehicles and personnel entering and leaving the premises, including times, names, and reasons for entry.

 Surveillance Monitoring: Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity or breaches.

 Incident Reporting: Document and report any incidents, accidents, or security breaches to management promptly.

 Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as accidents, medical incidents, or security threats, following established protocols.

 Communication: Serve as a point of contact for security-related questions or issues and maintain communication with management and other security personnel.

 Visitor Management: Assist visitors by providing information and directing them to appropriate locations within the facility.

 Safety Enforcement: Ensure that safety regulations are followed by all personnel and enforce company policies regarding security and safety practices.

Requirement:
 High school diploma or equivalent.
 A minimum of 1-2 years of experience woking in the security industry or related field.
 Prior experience in security, gatehouse, or related fields is preferred.
 Must have a valid Ontario Security License.

 Basic First Aid and CPR certification.
 Strong observational and reporting skills.
 Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and with professionalism.
 Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse populations.
 Must pass a background check, inluding a criminal record check.
 Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
