Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Surveillance Manager or designate, this position is responsible for daily on-going monitoring and observation of Casino operations, while ensuring the security and integrity of Casino assets, staff and guests. The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with proven knowledge, skills and abilities. As a Dual Surveillance Supervisor, you will pay attention to detail and show sound observation skills that are critical when conducting reviews, writing and completing reports and logs that could be used for evidence in legal matters. The Dual Surveillance Supervisor will ensure adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Accountabilities:

Supervising, managing and delegating Surveillance Operators daily tasks, duties and maintain awareness of all gaming operations at all times

Communicates effectively and interacts with internal and external customers while delivering exceptional customer service

Must be reliable, diligent and maintain a high level of integrity

Safeguard confidential information and prevents its improper disclosure or use

Investigate, report and document all irregular, unusual, suspicious, or illegal activities

Maintains and verifies logs, enter information into trackers and timesheets, prepares and verifies departmental reports

Monitors, documents and reports violations, unauthorized access, large cash/cash equivalent transactions, trespassed and self-excluded guests (not limited to)

Stores records securely for evidence purposes

Monitors and reports on the conditions of Surveillance facilities and equipment; performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required

Provides training and coaching to all new team members

Assist the management team with projects as needed

Ensures health and safety directives are followed and other statutory regulations

Performs other duties as directed by Surveillance Manager or designate

Ensures compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission regulations and applicable laws, policies and procedures.

Knowledge of Table Games a requirement

Ability to work all shifts (This includes evenings, weekends and holidays)

Knowledge of gaming industry considered an asset

Educational and Functional Requirements:

Secondary School diploma, with preference to graduates with a post-secondary education in Law and Security or Criminology

A minimum of 1 (one) or more years of Surveillance / Security related fields or gaming related positions, with preference to Supervisory experience of 1 (one) or more years

Strong leadership, analytical, observational, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Proactive and solution-oriented skills with strong problem-solving, and conflict resolutions skills

Knowledge of computer applications - MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point

Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication

The ability to obtain registration as a category 1 Gaming Assistant (license) with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario

Work Environment Considerations: Secure back-office environment, sitting for long periods of time, watching footage for long periods of time non-traditional work hours may be required including evening, overnights, weekends and holidays.
