We are looking for one (1) Part-Time Security Guard to join the Municipal By-law Compliance Division, Corporate Services Department available immediately. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the following duties will apply.
Two-year College Diploma in Law and Security, Police Foundations or equivalent. Possession of and the ability to maintain a valid Security Guard Licence in accordance with the Ontario Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005, S.O. 2005, c. 34.
Six (6) months to one (1) year experience in the following:
This position is within Grade 5 of the inside workers union Salary Schedule and has an hourly range of $35.24 - $37.46. We offer a comprehensive benefit package and are an Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) employer.
The hours of work are ten (10) hour rotating shifts, not exceeding twenty (20) hours per week. Shifts include days, afternoons and nights from Monday to Sunday.
Regular hours of work and shifts are subject to change at the discretion of the Manager of Municipal By-law Compliance.
