As a Premium Server, you will act as a conduit for our guest's appetite, connecting their taste buds with our beverage & food offerings creating a remarkable dining experience. You are part of a bigger production within the Food and Beverage team, ready to shine a spotlight on every dish. Our guests rely on your expertise, so you can articulate exactly what our guests can anticipate with each dish/beverage offering. You lead each conversation confidently, capturing your audience with your electric persona and charismatic energy. Under pressure, you keep cool, attending to each guest's needs without compromising your attention to detail. As a result, they keep coming back for more!

Job Duties

  • Deliver food and beverage service with an ability to romance all food and beverage offerings from the menu to guests
  • Perform service delivery tasks that are aligned with server "sequence of service standards"
  • Adhere and follow WEG uniform, grooming & personal hygiene standards always
  • Deliver, maintain, and exceed an elevated level of guest service quality standards as established by Food & Beverage Department
  • Demonstrate courtesy, commitment, professionalism and effective conflict resolution and independent service recovery, always
  • Present both dining and beverage menus and guide the guest through offering thoughtful menu recommendations.
  • Take and serve all Beverage / food orders with high importance of suggestions, upsell to premium liquor and add on items to food choices
  • Ensure that all guest allergies and food aversions are identified before orders are placed
  • Garnish food / beverage items for general and specific requests to ensure they meet established standards.
  • Be accessible at all times to ensure additional requests are met and soiled dishes and glassware are removed regularly
  • Advise Supervisor of guest compliments and complaints immediately
  • Accurately verify prices, taxes and gratuities (if applied) on all checks
  • Accurately place guest orders to bar/kitchen ensure all sales are recorded, present guest check, collect payment and remit deposit, per department procedures.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations, Smart Serve, Alcohol and Gaming Commission regulations, and other required regulations
  • Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform all opening and closing procedures for assigned workstation and side duties including table setting,
  • Polishing cutlery / glassware, stocking etc. as detailed by Management
  • Check server table sections to ensure that all tables, table decor and chairs are clean and well maintained.
  • Ensure that tables set up are set up to the WEG standards (Cutlery, plates, condiments, and any table decorations)
  • Transport food, bar service trays and soiled dish trays to appropriate areas
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Uphold and comply with department policies and practices
  • Conduct inventory and complete other checklists as assigned
  • Demonstrate an understanding of methods, machinery, techniques, and practices involved with the preparation and service of beverage and food items

What are we looking for:

  • 2-5 years' service experience in a fast-paced, high volume Casual / Fine Dining Restaurant environment
  • Advanced knowledge of food, spirits and bar equipment
  • In-depth understanding of wine varietals and regions and the ability to suggest different pairings of wine to food
  • Knowledge of spirits and beverage cocktails
  • Previous experience using a POS system, cash handling, debit/credit card processing terminals
  • Ability to serve in a fast-paced environment while wowing our guest and "Creating Winning Experiences".
  • Ability to execute table side food preparation/garnishing/service
  • Smart Serve & AGCO Certificate / License
  • Food Handlers Certification
  • Basic arithmetic skills & ability to read and understand English
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
