The team at Altima Kingston Dental Centre in Kingston, ON is looking for a passionate, hard-working Associate Dentist (General Practitioner) on a part time basis.

The Associate Dentist will provide a full range of dental services with the highest quality of care to ensure our patients have a positive, rewarding experience and leave with a smile. The Ideal Associate for our team and practice is skilled in helping patients feel at ease and comfortable, can clearly communicate with both patients and coworkers, and work independently as needed.

Altima Kingston Dental Centre is located in the heart of Kingston, ON. The city is home to Queen's University and has a big city feel with all the amenities available to its residents. Lake Ontario and the downtown waterfront are a short drive from the clinic to enjoy all that Kingston has to offer in the Winter and Summer seasons. Our clinic is located adjacent to a major hub for bus transportation and only 5 minutes from the 401 Highway.

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING:

COMPENSATION:

Associates are compensated on a fee for service basis with remuneration% on collections (depending on experience)

SCHEDULE:

  • 16-24+ hours per week
  • Flexible hours to start
  • Flexible days to start
  • Opportunity for Full Time hours in future

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program from an accredited school or university program, OR successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency process.
  • Registered or in processing of registering with the:
    • Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario
  • Eligible to practice dentistry in the province of Ontario
  • CDA and ODA member (for electronic claims to be sent on your behalf)
  • Invisalign Trained would be an asset or willing to become Invisalign trained by our 123dentist training network
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in practicing dentistry in Canada is required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients' families
