Qualifications:

• Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR
• At least 1 year of security experience in a high-profile customer-focused environment such as retail, campus, government or healthcare.
• Military/Police background/Law Enforcement background is an asset.
• Previous Use of Force training and arrest experience will be considered an asset.
• Ability to work at different sites across London, Ontario
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare professional daily and/or incident security reports.
• Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canada Criminal Code and 494(c)
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Ability to conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations.
• Strong observational skills and situational awareness
  
• Drive and able to commute across London

Pay Rate: $20.24 - $23 per hour

Pay Progression Opportunities (based upon performance)

Training:

Completion of Use of Force Training and Lawful Subject Restraint, and Crisis Management training are requirements for this role., and also require annual re-certification. The training is provided to new employees for this role along with Securiguard University Orientations courses for skill development.
