We are currently seeking applicants that have lived in Canada a minimum of 5 years consecutively in Canada. We are hiring Part Time / Tactical Security Guards to work at one of our Industrial clients located in London. Our client specializes in the defense industry. The candidate must hold G drivers license and clean abstract. As this site requires Secret II Clearance.

Position: Tactical Security Guard, Industrial

Location: 1991 Oxford St E, London, ON

Schedule: Ability to work days, afternoon, night shifts, on call, short notice availability, holidays and weekends

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.87 ; post completion of 3 months of probationary period, examination and obtaining clearances, the hourly rate is $ 23.77

What does a Tactical Security Guard in London do?

  • Access control through computer
  • Camera surveillance of access gates and parking barriers, Respond to customer inquiries
  • Manage contractor access as well as access cards
  • Conduct Temperature Screening and distributing PPR Masks
  • Act as first responder during events, crisis situations and emergencies
  • Occasionally escort maintenance in restricted areas
  • Conduct Lock ups and Unlocks of the site as required
  • Inspect incoming/outgoing delivery vehicles
  • Mail deliveries, Incident Reports written/verbal, Maintain perimeter access
  • Issue EH&S required tags/certificates
  • Support or cover weekend days and weekend night’s senior staff vacation and book off
  • Process client phone calls
  • Ensure/complete scheduled property/safety/security checks,
  • Complete odd tasks as directed by management.
  • First POC for all incoming business calls during business hours, Security POC for PSPC and DCMA

Qualifications to become a Tactical Security Guard in London?

  • Police Foundations or equivalent diploma an asset
  • Valid Security Guard license
  • Must have G or G2 drivers license
  • Valid first aid and CPR
  • Successfully complete CPO/CSO test
  • Must have lived in Canada for minimum of 5 years
  • Comfortable working on a computer and other technology
  • At ease working as a team and offering excellent customer service
  • Ability to pass CDG and secret II clearance
