Does the thought of putting your general maintenance skill set to work in our world class, billion dollar casino resort property excite you? Are you known for your ability to see projects through to completion? If you would like to be on a team of Great People delivering great service, we may have just the opportunity for you.

This is currently a Contract role for 6 months to begin with.

The job involves:

• Painting, landscaping, snow removal, carpentry duties, as well as assisting the plumbers and electricians
• Operating heavy equipment and commercial lawn care equipment
• Performing small engine maintenance and minor equipment repairs
• Escorting external contractors and providing assistance when needed
• Reacting to multiple projects and changing timelines while maintaining a positive professional attitude
• Working in all kinds of weather conditions
• Walking/standing for extended periods of time
• Lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Working independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, any shifts, possibly different length times

The ideal candidate has:

• Relevant experience in commercial landscape maintenance and design
• Working knowledge of all aspects of general construction and trades
• Mechanical intuition and ability to diagnose problems relating to a pump fed system
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• Valid Ontario Driver's License Class "G"
