The job involves:

• Fitting, altering and mending of associates uniforms to ensure adherence to Niagara Casinos appearance standards
• Assisting with the managing of inventory by counting and receiving incoming stock items, sewing electronic chips into new garments and advising the Uniform Supervisor when stock items are low
• Performing preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial sewing machines
• Identifying machine malfunctions such as parts, equipment or threading issues and performing minor adjustments
• Assisting the Uniform Attendants when required
• Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels
• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation working weekends and holidays

The ideal candidate has:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a tailor
• Experience with blind hemmer, serger and industrial sewing machine
• Basic knowledge and familiarity with embroidery machine
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
