Job Description

Reporting to the Docks Supervisors, the successful candidate will work move-ins/outs of conventions, trade & consumer shows and theatre productions.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor traffic flow of the Docks area during move-in/outs
  • Install/hang blackout drapes
  • Ensure that inspections of the loading facilities are completed as required
  • Communicate with various departments and contractors
  • Work in a safe manner
  • Some heavy lifting and/or carrying is required, as is the ability to work in all weather conditions

Job Skills and Requirements

  • Exhibit good customer services skills
  • Experience in using computer systems and utilizing MS Office would be an asset
  • Valid driver's license required
  • May require high reach equipment and propane training
  • Heavy lifting and carrying is required
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions (summer and winter)
  • Must have their own safety shoes
  • Must have experience in using computer systems and typing skills
  • Experience in using high reach equipment, forklift and propane training is an asset
  • Flexibility and shift work, including days, evenings, and weekends.
