Job Description
Reporting to the Docks Supervisors, the successful candidate will work move-ins/outs of conventions, trade & consumer shows and theatre productions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor traffic flow of the Docks area during move-in/outs
- Install/hang blackout drapes
- Ensure that inspections of the loading facilities are completed as required
- Communicate with various departments and contractors
- Work in a safe manner
- Some heavy lifting and/or carrying is required, as is the ability to work in all weather conditions
Job Skills and Requirements
- Exhibit good customer services skills
- Experience in using computer systems and utilizing MS Office would be an asset
- Valid driver's license required
- May require high reach equipment and propane training
- Heavy lifting and carrying is required
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (summer and winter)
- Must have their own safety shoes
- Must have experience in using computer systems and typing skills
- Experience in using high reach equipment, forklift and propane training is an asset
- Flexibility and shift work, including days, evenings, and weekends.
