Under the general direction of Manager, Procurement this position will be the gatekeeper for receiving all goods including equipment, food, beverages, small wares, etc. They will be responsible for checking incoming orders for freshness, completeness and condition while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset
Minimum six month's experience in a receiving position is an asset
Previous experience with electrical pallet jack and other loading equipment is as asset
Food Safety Certification
Have a forklift ticket/certificate or willing to obtain one
Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Must be able to work in a fast paced, busy environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Work Environment Considerations
Standing for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, interruptions, major exposure to heat, cold, noise, odors, mi nor exposure to fumes, chemicals, dirt, dust, non-traditional work hours
