Qualifications
-Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
-Medication administration and current CPR Certificate
-Satisfactory performance appraisal in current position
-Documented commitment to continuing education through inservice, staff meetings and self-motivated learning
-2-3 years' experience in Mental Health Nursing within the past 2 years
-Documented leadership, problem solving, decision making, organizational and interpersonal skills
-Group facilitation skills
-Knowledgeable in CBT, DBT and motivational interviewing
-ASIST trained
-Psychiatric Certificate and Non Violent Crisis Intervention an asset
-Satisfactory Attendance if internal
-Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
-Satisfactory vulnerable person's sector criminal background check
-Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
