Kent Summerside will hosting a joined job fair with Kent Kensington on March 20th 10:00am-5:00pm located at 19 Eustane St, Summerside (Kent Summerside). We are looking for a number of positions including Contractor sales, Install sales, Yard associate, Garden center associate, Seasonal positions, etc. Please join us if you are looking to grow your career and knowledge in a fast paced, friendly, safety-oriented environment, with the opportunity of elevating the customer experience through providing the best solution as a trusted partner for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
- Clarify and understand customers' needs and take them to the best solution(s) for their projects.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Take initiative and confidently direct customer interactions
- Produce quotes, material lists and follows up
- Demonstrate high standards of safety and customer service
- Resolve customer challenges quickly and efficiently.
- Continually learn about products and market conditions
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and team player
- Sales and customer service experience
- Possess a high level of attention to details
- Ability to lift 55 lbs.
- Ability to workdays/evening/weekends (rotating shifts)
- Ability to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D635) used to process orders
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent considered an asset
