Job Description: Accountable to the Manager, the Infection Control Practitioner is responsible for providing infection prevention and control related services within the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) integrated service areas by supporting implementation and maintenance of an effective Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) program, providing training and education related to IPAC and infectious diseases, and by consulting on matters related to IPAC as an expert resource. The incumbent will participate in quality improvement or research activities as needed within the SHA.

  • Degree in Nursing or relevant Health Sciences Degree acceptable to the Employer

  • Infection Control Certificate (CIC)
