Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Information

  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Previous experience in Post Anaesthesia Care nursing desired
  • It will be desirable if you possess knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques involved in performing nursing services relating to the care of patients in a Post Anaesthesia Care Unit
  • Standby required
