Job Description: The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible to the Manager. As an interdisciplinary team member the therapist is required to assess, diagnose and treat children.

Education

  • Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP)

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Significant experience in adult population in context of complex medical needs
  • Promote professional development of staff and engender job satisfaction
  • Knowledge of needs of young children and social and environmental factors
  • Leadership abilities to provide direction to staff speech language pathologists
  • Knowledge of resources available to 0-5 population and caregivers in urban area
  • Ability to work with young children individually and in small groups.
