Job Summary: The incumbent provides clinical assistance to anaesthetists, as well as calibrating, troubleshooting and performing repairs on anaesthetic equipment, as required, at all acute care facilities. Individuals in this position have a blended reporting relationship, reporting administratively to the manager, cardio-respiratory services (i.e. payroll, professional issues), financially to the manager of nursing - operating room (i.e. direct purchase authorization, inventory additions/deletions) and receives clinical direction from the department of anaesthesia.
