Job Description: Under the direction of the Children's Subspecialty Program Manager, the Procedure Nurses will be recruited in the division of Children's Subspecialty Programs - Gastroenterology as well as may support other Pediatric Subspecialty Clinics. The procedure nurses will work with the multi-disciplinary team to improve the health outcomes of children. The nursing duties would include the provision of comprehensive care to children and adolescents; attend to the OR to support Endoscopies; support nursing related patient care needs in Diagnostic Imaging; support nursing related patient care needs in the Pediatric Outpatient Department for all Sub-Specialty programs (ie. PICC Line care, catheters, PORT access, etc). The Procedure Nurses will follow up and document in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, as well as email or phone to coordinate patients' care, as needed.
