Job Description: Reporting to the Director Long Term Residential Care, the Facility Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the day to day operational activities of long term care/services/programs for Chateau Providence in St. Brieux. The Facility Administrator ensures quality care/services/programs through the implementation of policies and standards that meet with best practice consistent with the mission, philosophy, goals and objectives of the Kelsey Trail Health Region. The Facility Administrator participates in a team concept of management, accepting responsibilities associated with ensuring the coordination of long term care services in Chateau Providence in St. Brieux. The Facility Administrator provides the overall management of the facility in the absence of Departmental Directors and facilitates the interdisciplinary functioning of the building by providing positive leadership and support for continuous quality improvement.

Experience

  • 5+ years experience in healthcare organization and community health service
  • Experience in leadership

Education

  • Nursing diploma
  • Health Care Administration diploma
  • Bachelor of Administration (BAdmin)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Leadership training
  • Undergraduate degree in Health or Social Sciences
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
